The price of oil is increasing and with it the amount of fuel stolen each year. The Depot Defender is an alarm system designed to protect diesel storage tanks from fuel theft.
A probe is fitted on the fuel tank and is linked to an alarm controller unit located near the fuel pump or fuel dispensing point. When the alarm is triggered the unit will operate an external sounder and/or visual alarm or other devices which may be linked to it.
The Depot Defender detects and provides an alarm when the fuel level in the fuel tank decreases rapidly or if the hatch is opened without the alarm first being disabled.
Fuel theft alarm alerts can be received and viewed and the alarm controller disabled via mobile phone. There is also an optional online service.
